Escape
‘Escape’, Explores Brown's connection with rural British landscapes approaching these spaces in a documentative style by photographing the landscape and collecting materials from the land. From there, he combines the image and object using liquid emulsion to print images onto the object. Throughout the process, his connection deepens within the landscape as he learns about the material creating a bond. The outcome of this process is a unity of himself, object, and image with the properties detailing the emotions of this relationship.
These three sculptures were shown as part of the Gazer grad-show in Copeland gallery in Peckham, London
